One of my favorite pass times is to study my children.  I love to watch how they play.  How they study the things around them. How they interact with people.  How Asher wants to know how everything works.  And William loves to look at his little hands as if they may dissapear and if they did he would need to remember every detail.  My favorite joy to treasure  is when it is quiet, and it isn’t too often quiet with a 17 month old and a 4 month old boys, but when it is I love to look at their little faces. 

Cousins are so delightful

Older cousins are good at reminding you when not to eat something. 

And for making sure you look your best as you dress up to be a snow princess.

They can be silly with you.

Having Fun

At the Frank household we use the word fun frequently.  We use it to describe many things that we like.

One way we love to have fun is by drinking a White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks.

This is Asher helping his Daddy set up the crib for his new little brother.  Asher loves to learn and loves to help, and Asher loves his Daddy.

 

I am always surprised at what Asher is picking up and learning.  Most of the time I don’t even notice that he is  listening or paying attention,  but he is. What a responsibility I have as a parent to teach my children. I can teach them to  be lazy, or how to work hard.  I can chose to teach them to judge others, or I can teach them to love others.   I can teach them that people with disablities are just as normal as they are normal. My biggest challenge for myself is that I have always had a hard time with life not being  fair, and it never will be fair.  But I don’t want my kids to always look at the things that are unfair.  I want my kids to count the blessings that they have been given, not to be consumed with what they  haven’t been given.   Ryan and I are their first school with the ABC’s, colors, shapes and numbers.  Our home is where they learn their manners; please and thank you, and how to respect others.  And most important we are where they learn about God and His love and interest in their lives.

Tammy and Jeff Everett

 

 All day you could see Jeff was looking at Tammy and loving her so completely.

We loved watching Jeff be in love with Tammy.

 

 

 

When Jeff surprised Tammy and picked her up half way down the eisle the guests

were surprised as well.  They laughed and clapped.  It was so great!

 

We enjoyed spending the day with Tammy and Jeff.  They were so relaxed, in love and ready for anything.

Meet Asher

After having nice weather for a few days in a row and being able to go on walks outside I was dissapointed to see snow on our roof this morning as I got up.  As I long for Spring to stay, it is the perfect time to introduce you to Asher and look at some summer pictures from the North Shore. 

 

Here is Ryan once again fishing something out of Asher’s mouth. 

Meet William at two months

Here is William at just two months.  He is now almost 4 months and I am always amazed at just how fast time seems to go by. There isn’t much time in a day to just take time for a photo shoot. On this day Ryan had Asher, and William and I just got to spend some time together.  Hopefully soon we will do this again.
