Growing to love Angie

Uncle Eric is home for a visit.  YEAH!!! We do wish that he lived closer and we saw him more often.   Even though Uncle Eric lives so far away and Asher only see’s him a few times a year, which isn’t much for a 19 month old, they have become quick friends.  On the other hand Angie lives close, and we see her once a month, he has had to learn to love her.  His love is growing, slowly.

From about three months Asher has been leary of Angie.  He loves to touch her chair, inspect the wheels and how the chair is put together.  But Angie is another story.  Wheels are great, but the person in the chair makes him very uncertain.  Our hope is that one day her wheel chair won’t be scary, or a set of wheels to say “vroom, vroom” to, but that her wheels won’t even be noticed by him.  Even though we are family, and Asher doesn’t know Angiewithout her chair he still needs to grow in his love for Angie.

  1. I loved seeing asher honking angie’s nose. It’s truely special to be an aunt and to have a sister who loves to share her children with you. Glad Asher is warming up!

  2. Loved your thoughts and pictures!
